Name: Devon Aquin

Nickname: Dev

Age: 21

Position played: Forward

Number of years I’ve played ringette: 15 years

Year and program of studies: 4th year, Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting.

Career aspirations: To receive a CPA designation.

Hometown: Edmonton

My best ringette memory: Each ringette season is memorable. However, my favorite ringette memory is winning provincials with my Edmonton AA team and going to westerns as Team Alberta.

Why I’m playing for the University Ringette Team: When I was younger, it had been a goal of mine to play on the University Ringette Team one day. This is my third year playing on the team and I stay because I like the girls on the team, as well as, the coaches. It allows me to continue playing competitive ringette while focusing on my academic and career goals. The team promotes community involvement and academic success which is a great environment to be a part of!
